We have two separate areas in town experiencing water service issues this morning due to line damage and maintenance. Please see the notices below:

ASHBY DRIVE & SALEM HIGHWAY AREA

Due to road work at the end of Ashby Drive, a water line was damaged this morning. Residents in this immediate area and along Salem Highway may notice a disruption or total loss of water service while crews work to repair the line.

WOOD BROTHERS DR. & MOUNTAIN VIEW HEIGHTS

A separate leak occurred on Wood Brothers Drive this morning. Due to the necessary maintenance work being performed on this line, residents on Wood Brothers Drive and Mountain View Heights may also experience a disruption of water service.

TIPS FOR WHEN WATER IS RESTORED

Once service is back on, you may notice some air or slight discoloration in your pipes. Please follow these steps to clear your lines:

• Run your COLD water taps for a few minutes.
• Wait until the sputtering (air) stops and the water runs at a steady flow.
• The Glass Test: Fill a clear glass of water to ensure it looks crystal clear again before using it for drinking, cooking, or laundry.
